This easy pumpkin pancakes recipe is perfect for mornings during the fall and holiday season and are chock full of protein as well.
- 2 tablespoons of pumpkin puree
- 1 scoop BioHealth's Pumpkin Donut Precision Blend protein powder
- 4 tablespoons of egg whites
- 1-2 tablespoons water or more as needed for a thinner consistency
- 1/4 teaspoon of cinnamon
In a bowl, combine pumpkin, protein powder, egg whites and cinnamon. Add 1-2 tablespoons water as needed for a thinner consistency.
Heat a greased skillet to medium low heat. Slowly and evenly pour the mixed batter onto the pan to make several small pancakes.
Cook for 3 to 5 minutes on each side and ensure that it's cooked through.
Remove from heat and top with a drizzle of real maple syrup, and fruit if desired. Enjoy!
